Pi Alpha Alpha is a membership organization for students and alums of graduate programs in public policy or public administration. Each spring, MPA and MPP students who meet the Pi Alpha Alpha qualifications are invited to join the honor society. Membership in PAA is limited to persons who demonstrate academic achievement in public policy and administration program in NASPAA member schools. All memberships are national memberships with a local chapter affiliation. Most Pi Alpha Alpha events at The University of Utah are open to all students regardless of membership in Pi Alpha Alpha.
